The year 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Portuguese writer Vergílio Ferreira. As a tribute to this writer, the TOPUS research group chose his work as common research theme. Thus, during the third International Conference on Studies about Literary Space (JOEEL), held at UnB in November 2015, the vergilian work was the central theme. Researchers’ texts, presented and discussed in roundtables at the 3rd JOEEL, are gathered here.
